Making farm machinery maintenance free and long lasting

Colleagues, I read a article in our local newspaper yesterday outlining the major problems around combine harvesters, maintenance and other wear problems pertaining to farm machines.
Whilst this article was well written and comprehensive on the need to check bearings, pistons and engines for wear damage prior to major damage being caused, there was no mention whatsoever to technology that can stop metal damage in the first place.

The marine and wind turbine industry have successfully tested fluids that stop metal fatigue happening in the first place, so that machinery can work ( even without oil for a short time) without any damage whatsoever. These coatings within bearings and moving parts of engines / gears provide additional tolerances, reduce temperature and stress and thus go on to reduce fuel and omissions. This all sounds too good to be true, but there are over 800 documents available to confirm the value of these coatings. If anyone is interested in more information or wish to approach the company with the product direct, simply send me a email ( dermott.reilly2@gmail.com). Whilst the agriculture sector everywhere are under major pressure to deliver more for less, surely this type of technology should be more widely available to us?
